Boguslaw Bembenek became an academic teacher at the Rzeszow University of Technology. He completed his habilitation thesis on managerial competencies for cluster management within a praxeological and holistic perspective - at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business in April 2020, and in April 2020 was appointed Associate Professor at his alma mater (Associate Professor with habilitation in the field of Social Sciences in the discipline of Management and Quality Studies). He received PhD degree in Economic Sciences (on Management) from Wroclaw University of Economics in January 2008. He received his doctoral degree on the basis of his dissertation on "Partnership as a strengthening factor of enterpises competitiveness within Aviation Valley cluster". Also, He received his MSc in Marketing Management from Rzeszow University of Technology Faculty of Management and Marketing in June 2002.
He works in Department of Entrepreneurship, Management and Ecoinnovativeness at Rzeszow University of Technology (Faculty of Management) - as an Associate Professor since 2020. He is fueled by his passion for understanding the nuances of the cluster concept developed and popularized by Profesor Michael E. Porter. His research and consulting interests include: clusters, cluster management, clusterpreneur, competitiveness of the organizations, B2B partnerships, knowledge management, information management, human resources, strategic management, heuristic methods, change management, restructuring. He is a member of several scientific societies and associations (e.g. Polish Economic Society, Praxeology Scientific Society, Society for Global Business & Economic Development). Until now, He has published more than 140 papers in national and international peer-reviewed conference proceedings, monographs and journals. He participated in various projects, e.g. Regional and Technological Foresight, Regional Innovation Strategy, Clusters Benchmarking.

As an academic teacher with many years of experience, He pays particular attention to the necessity of creating greater mobility between institutions of tertiary education, the world of business and vocational education and training. He insists that mobility of students and teachers be significantly enhanced - not only geographical but also mobility between VET and higher education (VET - the vocational education and training provides graduates with the practical skills they need for certain industries and roles).
He grew up in the charming and small village (Bilberries) near Rzeszow city. Four times He was a Member of the Sejm of Children and Youth in Poland (during period 1995-1998 - sessions organized in the Sejm of the Republic of Poland). The Sejm of Children and Youth is the first children and youth parliament in Europe. Young deputies, elected in the competition for pupils of primary and secondary schools, held their first session in 1994 at the initiative of the Chancellery of the Sejm and the President of the Polish Humanitarian Organisation (PAH) Janina Ochojska. At that first session the topic of the children’s discussion was “War as a threat to happy childhood”. Similar projects are now organised in i.a. Portugal, France, the United Kingdom, Finland and the Czech Republic.
He has cooperated with different commercial organisations (e.g. fashion designers, tour operators and travel agencies, shops, fairs and exhibitions) during high school and studies. In this way, He earned his first money for living expenses. He has traveled to 40 countries and has at least 20 more countries to visit on his bucket list! He is a passionate about art and photography. Biking and running are some of the outdoor activity that He loves. He feels at home in the woods!
